Tacos Chukis

TACO CHUKIS – multiple locations around Seattle. It has always been my favorite taco and I could eat these by the dozen. My favorite is their House Tacos which come with adobada pork, melted cheese, salsa, guacamole, diced onions, cilantro, and grilled pineapple on a soft corn tortilla. Their regular tacos come with your choice of filling (carne asada, pollo, frijoles, adobada, or nopal) and diced onions, cilantro, salsa and guacamole on soft corn tortillas. When I lived in downtown Seattle there was a Taco Chukis in my apartment complex, so it is an understatement when I say I ate there a lot. I have always loved this place and this is my favorite taco place in the city to grab the most delicious street tacos! Their house tacos are $2.95 per taco, while their regular tacos are $2.50 (this is because the house ones comes with cheese and grilled pineapple). If you ask me, less than $3.00 for a taco is a great deal in Seattle and these are simple, but still pack so much flavor! If tacos aren’t your jam, or if you are not a fan of corn tortillas – try some of their other menu items. Their menu is pretty basic with only a few options, but that is what I love, you only only gotta decide what filling you want! THey’ve got baby burritos ($4.00), quesadillas ($4.95), nopal asado ($8.50), tortas ($8.50), and mulitas ($3.25). You can fill up for pretty cheap here and don’t forget to grab a mexican coke to go with it!
