I started following PDX cookies long ago before it was cool. Their cookies drew me in with their fun names and flavors! They are known for their wild creations and massive cookies. When I mean massive, I am being serious these cookies are hefty and dense and you definitely don’t want to look at the nutritional information if you’re watching your waistline! So why did it take me so long to actually try their cookies?! Well to be honest I am not sure – I think part of me was afraid of becoming hooked and eating too many; but that’s really not a good excuse. I am definitely kicking myself for not trying these sooner because WOW are they amazing!
I ordered the G.O.A.T pack which comes with a variety of 6 cookies for $24 not including shipping. The pack includes: Better than Sex, Frosted Animal Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Bomb, Cinnamon Roll, Em’s Sexual Chocolate, and Funfetti Buttercream. So what are these bad boys filled with? Better than Sex is filled with white chocolate chips, crushed oreos, twix, buttenrcake and buttercream. Frosted Animal Cheesecake is a cheesecake cookie base with white chocolate chips, circus animal cookies, and cream cheese frosting. Peanut Butter Bomb is full of chocolate chips, peanut butter chips AND cups, and Reeces pieces. Cinnamon Roll has white chocolate, cinnamon chips, cinnamon rolls, and cream cheese frosting. Em’s Sexual Chocolate is filled with milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate oreos, nutella and brownie (WOW!). And finally, Funfetti Buttercream is a confetti cake cookie base, white chocolate chips, and buttercream frosting. I also ordered a Circus Rush ($5) which is filled with white chocolate, circus animal cookies, rainbow sprinkles then stuffed with buttercake and buttercream drizzled with white chocolate and topped with a circus cookie. It is too hard to choose a favorite because they were seriously all so tasty. But I am a sucker for funfetti and oreos.
They also offer bars and edible cookie dough. If you aren’t lucky enough to live on Portland or nearby, they offer online ordering and shipping – so you can practically get them anywhere! They drop their new menu and offerings on Thursday nights at 6pm PST. They make a certain amount of each item, so make sure to act fast so they don’t run out of your favorites.
These cookies are unbelievable and taste incredible. They are super dense and filling though, so make sure you save some room to devour them! While they are dense, they still manage to be soft and gooey – even after being shipped. You might also find yourself in a sugar rush after a few bites. You can check them out on their website and stay up to date on their instagram with all their offerings and release dates! Make sure to order yourself a dozen or so to try them yourself, you’ll fall in love at first bite! I highly recommend the G.O.A.T pack because you get 6 different cookies so you get to try a variety!
