We were walking around the area and I was in need of a Doner, since I hadn’t had one in about an hour lol. We found City Kebab and so we popped in.
Unfortunately, this spot served Doner a little different and didn’t have the traditional Turkish bread that makes it so signature. But that is okay, we opted for a wrap instead and it was delicious.
I wouldn’t classify this spot as a classic doner spot, but it was still pretty good, just different. It was filled with meats, veggies and garlicky sauce, and it totally hit the spot. I did enjoy trying the wrap, which was like a tortilla but a bit softer.
If you’re in Kreuzberg and craving something quick, City Kebab is worth a try, even if it’s not the traditional style.
