Empire Slice House

Oh Empire…you are incredible and I wish I had more pictures to prove that. If you are looking for some of the best pizza in OKC, look no further because Empire is very hard to be beat! There are probably 3 pizza spots in OKC that are my favorites and Empire is definitely 1 of them. Their slices are huge and fresh and very reasonably priced. They offer daily slices, that rotate each day to give you all the options if you are a frequent visitor, or you can order a whole pie. If you order a whole pie, grab a few friends or know that you will have leftovers for days because those whole pies are HUGE! Empire is open late, which is ideal for those late night pizza cravings when you want a large, tasty slice dunked in their famous pink sauce. They serve classic NY style pizza that is so so so incredible! They also have fun names for their pizzas like RBG Supreme, Rocksteady, Fungus Among Us, Foghorn Leghorn, and many more! My all time favorite flavors (besides their classic pepperoni because it is dope) are MCA, Notorious P.I.G., Fat Tony, and Doug E Fresh. The MCA is a white pizza (pictured here next to the peperoni), that features mozzarella, ricotta, and asiago – it is so cheesy and tasty. I love the combinations of cheese on this one because you have the soft and creamy ricotta and then a sharp, salty asiago. This one dipped in their pink sauce is a whole vibe and I am so about it! When I want something a bit more meaty, their Notorious P.I.G. is where it’s at. It pulls out all the stops for meat lovers – pepperoni, italian sausage, bacon, and canadian bacon. I feel my arteries clogging just thinking about it, but it is too good to resist! I stick to classics and am not as adventurous with pizza, but if you want some more unique flavors try their Figgy Stardust – basil + almond pesto, mozzarella, roasted chicken, baked ham and figs. Or if you think you can handle the heat, grab a slice of their Ghostface Killah, but don’t say I didn’t warn you! I haven’t even made it to talk about their starters, but their garlic knots and meatballs SLAP HARD.
