Lan Hue

I have been on a search lately for the best banh mi in Seattle. I recently had a reawakening of my love of banh mi after not eating one for a long period of time. I have tried a few places I have stumbled on and done a lot of research on various websites to see what everyone else out there recommends. That is when I stumbled upon Lan Hue. It had amazing reviews, so I knew I had to check it out myself.

THIS. This was exactly what I was looking for. It is packed with delicious, tender meat and topped with fresh and pickled vegetables for that ultimate combination. These were no frills, just the basics and sometimes that is what gets you on top. We ordered the BBQ Pork and Grilled Beef – each were $5. That was another great selling point. These were large and cheap – already a pretty good situation but the taste was ALSO incredible – so we’ve got like a triple win situation over here! They also have a large variety – about 15 options – so there is something on the menu for everyone. They have their menu divided up by 3 sections – Seattle, Paris, and Saigon – offering different fillings and combinations. All sandwiches are topped with carrots, daikon, cilantro, cucumber and jalapeños – all your standard banh mi fillings!

I definitely think this place takes the spot at the top! Their sandwiches tasted amazing, were made fresh upon order, and you’re not gonna find a better deal. The trifecta! I will definitely keep trying other banh mi spots, but it will take a lot to knock this place off the top. Check them out yourself and let me know what your thoughts are!
