Sironi

Sironi is serving pizza and bread straight from Milan, right in the middle of Berlin. While Germany has so many incredible breads and a wide range to choose from, the Italians do know how to make some delicious focaccia and pizza and it is hard to resist.

Sironi has several locations across Berlin and most of them you can dine in, which is great for a proper sit-down meal. I grabbed some eats from their location in Markthalle Neun, which is more of a grab and go situation versus a sit down restaurant, perfect for market wandering.

You’ll find delicious pizza by the slice, thick and crispy focaccia, croissants and other pastries, and beautiful loaves of bread. The smell walking by was too hard to ignore so we grabbed a slice of their focaccia pizza.

It was exactly what you want. Crispy, fluffy dough topped with fresh marinara and so much melty mozzarella. It was the perfect snack for walking around the market and exploring all the other stalls.

I can only imagine how tasty their full menu is at their sit-down spots, but even just the slice at the market was worth the trip.
