Sinaloa Signature Restaurant

To get these tacos you gotta work! Okay not really, but you may have to drive a fair distance. This spot is located about 20-30 minutes outside of OKC but the drive is so worth it. They are located inside a Co-Op with a door that joins the two so you can browse and pick up specialty items before or after your meal. This restaurant is super small – they have like 2 tables and some outdoor seating so it feels very homey. They also offer takeout if there are no tables available, but they were super quick with the food so I can imagine they turn over tables pretty fast during their rush hours. Make sure to check the hours though because they close pretty early during the week! Definitely a lunch or early dinner spot.

I will admit, when I pulled up to this spot I was a bit skeptical and was about to ditch the place entirely. But then I remembered how good the menu looked so I decided to go ahead and give them a try and I am so so glad I did! We started our meal off with their Toritos. These are stuffed yellow peppers with shrimp and cream cheese then wrapped in bacon. DAMN these were so fire I could have eaten the entire plate myself. The peppers themselves weren’t too spicy but there was still a bit of heat coming through which complemented the sweet sauce really nicely.

Their menu features burritos, tacos, fajitas, quesadillas and even more if you can believe it! We ordered a small village worth of tacos and a burrito that didn’t make it into the photos. The tacos are single order tacos, which I love because I can mix and match and order as many or as few as I want. We tried the Birria, Carne Asada, Chicken, and Pastor tacos as well as a Shrimp Tostada. The tacos were soooo good and so authentic. This is exactly what I want when I think of street tacos that just feed your soul. The meat was so flavorful and tender and they were filled so full of meat. Like WOW I was thoroughly impressed and wish I had ordered more. My favorite was the birria taco, but only because I am a sucker for shredded beef and cheese. The care and pastor though were both top contenders and I will be definitely going back very soon to work my way through more of the menu!

They don’t have much of an online presence, but you can find them here.
