Mango Mango

Mango Mango is a dessert and tea restaurant that was founded in 2013 and now has over 30 locations! They first started in New York and have now spread across 12 states to bring you incredible creations. If you are lucky enough to have one of these near you, definitely check them out. One of their crowning joys are their crepe cakes. They are thin layers of crepes alternating with fluffy, light cream. With various flavors you might have a hard time choosing which one to try, but honestly just try them all. I grabbed the matcha crepe cake since I love matcha and I could not get enough. It was flavorful, light and airy. I have always wanted to make my own crepe cake, but the work that goes in to these is pretty daunting, so maybe I will leave it to the professionals like Mango Mango to indulge me. Their crepe desserts are some of their most popular items. Among their other fan favorites are their cold, ice desserts, especially the mango options. We grabbed the snow white mango. Basically half of it is like a mango sorbet and the other half is a white, coconut slurry with tapioca and is topped off with fresh mango and grapefruit seeds. It is light and refreshing and great for a warm day (but eat it quickly before it melts). You can also get the same option but with ice cream added! I loved their ice desserts becuase they were filled with fruit and flavor and I felt fairly healthy eating them! While I did not try their teas, they had some delicious looking flavors that I will just have to go back and try. Honestly I was all about that crepe cake that I couldn’t think of much else!
