Happy Lemon is a chain bubble tea store that originated in Taiwan in 2006 and now have locations all over the world! In Washington, they currently have locations in Bellevue, Seattle, Tukwila, Edmonds, and Issaquah – but keep an eye at for new stores popping up. Their menu is pretty simple – one of the shorter menus I have seem at a bubble tea shop, but that is what makes it great. They specialize in a smaller number of drinks and have really perfected them to taste as delicious as possible and are able to produce consistent results each time! Happy Lemon also uses the highest quality tea products from Asia to make their teas – so you know you are getting high quality drinks here!
They offer Milk Teas, Crema Teas, Fruit Teas, Lemon Teas, and Smoothies. My favorite is the Milk Tea with Oreo Cookies and Puff Cream – it is fun and delicious. This one is on the sweeter side with the oreos and cream, but the milk tea is subtle with a strong tea flavor to balance the toppings. You can’t go wrong with their classic milk tea tho! They also offer the cutest waffles in 3 flavors – original, chocolate, and matcha. These are called Hong Kong Bubble Waffles and are crispy, light, and fluffy on the inside. You can get a side of puff cream, oreo cream, or rock salt crema to dunk your waffle in – but they are also delicious on their own! Pro Tip: you can get a 1/2 and 1/2 waffle with two different flavors for even more fun!
