London Eats

London is one of those cities that you can find literally any cuisine you want – even cuisines you have probably never heard of. The food scene is the most diverse I have seen from a city and there is so much to try. London is also one of those cities that can be overwhelming because it is large with so many neighborhoods to explore. I am typically only in London for work, so I am mostly in the Shoreditch Area. Whether you want casual eats or upscale fine dining, you will find it all. My top spots would have to be: Breakfast Club for a traditional full English breakfast; Dishoom for the most magical Indian food; The Black Pig for a sandwich you will never forget; Duck & Waffle for stunning views, cocktails and food; Humble Crumble for a dessert you will want to eat again and again; Pick & Cheese for a unique charcuterie experience; Fitz’s Bar for an insane cocktail experience; Manteca for the best pasta you’ll find outside of Italy; and Sketch for a quirky afternoon tea. You’ll also find 3 fun food markets across the city and all of them offer very different experiences. Borough Market is the most famous with some great options, but it is probably the most crowded so try to go at off times; Camden Market is more open-air with small stalls all around – personally I like walking around the area but it is my least favorite market; and Spitalfields Market is my personal favorite – it is a bit smaller and gets packed during lunch hour but there are so many good spots in it and less crowded overall!
