Velvet Taco is popping up all around the country now. They originated in Texas but have quickly made a name for themselves outside of the Taco capital! Of course there is a location in Nashville and of course of course I had to go there. Velvet is most known for their unique and interesting taco combinations. Their menu features tacos you would never think of and probably have never seen anywhere else. Take their Spicy Tikka Chicken taco for example – tikka sauce, chicken, basmati rice and raiti cream…like who would have ever thought to stick that together and shove it in a tortilla! They also have options like Chicken and Waffles, Korean Fried Rice, Kobe Bacon Burger, and Shrimp and Grits. So many delicious options to choose from. I recommend going with someone to try a few of their creative creations together! While I do love Velvet, I am drawn to them for their uniqueness. For the full list of locations and menu, click here.
