Revoltosa Prado
Located in the heart of Madrid, Revoltosa Prado is a popular spot for those looking for a traditional tavern experience. With three locations across the city, we dined in the Prado location, which offered a cozy and rustic atmosphere. As we walked in, we were greeted by the warm and inviting interior, with wooden accents and a lively vibe. The menu at Revoltosa Prado features a range of classic dishes, including Grilled Broccoli, Spanish Omelette with Chorizo, Jamon Iberico with salmorejo, and Beef Tripe and Chorizo Stew. We ordered a variety of dishes to try, and while some were hits, others were misses. The Grilled Broccoli was a highlight, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The Jamon Iberico with salmorejo was also delicious, with the creamy salmorejo pairing perfectly with the salty Jamon. However, not all of the dishes were winners. The Spanish Omelete with Chorizo lacked flavor, and the chorizo was overpowering and greasy. The Beef Tripe and Chorizo Stew was also a bit of a letdown. In terms of value, Revoltosa Prado was on the expensive side for what we ordered. While the atmosphere and service were great, the food didn’t quite live up to the prices. That being said, Revoltosa Prado is still a decent spot for drinks or a quick bite for lunch. The rustic atmosphere and extensive wine and beer selection make it a great spot to grab a drink and relax. If you’re looking for a traditional Spanish meal, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you’re in the area and craving a casual meal or drink, Revoltosa Prado is worth a stop.
