You must eat a minimum of one pretzel a day when you’re in Germany. It’s just the rule I made for myself, and I highly recommend you adopt it too.
While there are so many wonderful pretzel spots around Berlin, Ditsch is consistently my favorite. Not only are they in almost all of the train stations, which makes them impossible to miss when you’re running for a train, but their pretzels are simply the best.
They are soft and warm on the inside with the perfect amount of flakey salt, and the exterior has that great crust that gives you the most satisfying chew. Also, these pretzels are only like 1 euro each, which, like, how can you not grab one every single time you walk by?
Make sure to grab one, or five, and enjoy while walking around the city. It’s the perfect cheap, delicious, and totally essential snack for exploring.
