I found the most adorable, rustic, and charming little bakery in Denver, and you absolutely have to add it to your list. It’s called Lo Dough, and it’s tucked away down an alley right by the popular Milk Market. While I highly recommend checking out the Milk Market, make sure you stop by Lo Dough first, because this place sells out, and for a very good reason!
I grabbed a couple of items, and I was just blown away. First, I tried a Boureka, which was filled with potatoes and sauteed onions. The pastry was so unbelievably light, buttery, and flakey. It was savory and delicious, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I could have easily eaten a dozen of them.
I also got a Hazelnut Croissant, which was equally as good. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I loved. The hazelnut filling was so rich, luscious, and silky smooth, with a really deep and wonderful flavor.
This shop is an absolute must-try when you’re in Denver. Just make sure you plan ahead! Check their hours because they are closed on some days of the week, and they do tend to sell out fast. The good news is that you can also preorder online to make sure you get your hands on these incredible treats. Don’t miss out on this one.
