While wandering around Vancouver, we came across Waves Coffee House, a local chain that serves up a great selection of coffee, pastries, and light bites. It’s a really welcoming spot, but what really drew us in was a special promotion they were running during our trip.
They were offering a menu of specialty drinks from around the world, like a coffee passport that lets you travel without ever leaving the shop! I thought this was such a fun and creative idea. It was so cool to see different coffee creations from various countries all on one menu.
Since we were in Canada, it only felt right to try their Canadian-inspired latte, which of course, was flavored with maple syrup. It was absolutely delicious! The coffee was really smooth, and they did a great job of balancing the maple flavor so that it wasn’t overly sweet. It just added a nice, subtle richness to the latte.
We really enjoyed this spot! It’s a great local chain with a comfortable vibe and some really creative drinks. It’s definitely worth a stop.
