Hey Tea

While continuing my food tour through Crystal Mall, which is packed with so many amazing Asian food stalls, I knew I needed to grab a fun drink to sip on. I saw that there was a Hey Tea location, a spot I had heard of but never tried, and decided to finally check it out.

Now, this popular tea spot has locations all over the world. They started in China back in 2012 and have grown incredibly quickly, becoming a huge name in the global tea scene. Seeing how popular it was, I was definitely curious.

I was in the mood for something interesting and saw they had a Wicked themed tea, which was a matcha base with a vibrant ube foam on top.

So, what was the verdict? Overall, it was pretty good! The flavors were nice, but I have to be honest, it was definitely on the pricey side. And while I’m glad I tried it, it wasn’t my favorite tea shop I visited during my trip to Vancouver.

It’s such a popular place that I can’t help but wonder if maybe I just ordered the wrong thing for my taste. Have you been? I’d love to know what your go-to order is!
