Hanoi Drip

If you know me, you know I absolutely love Vietnamese coffee, so I was beyond excited to find Hanoi Drip on our recent trip to Vancouver. This spot is a dream! It’s a fantastic Vietnamese-style coffee shop serving up so many fun and inventive drinks, and they also have Banh Mi for a delicious, quick lunch.

For those who have never had Vietnamese coffee, it’s traditionally made with a phin-dripped, dark roast coffee that is incredibly rich and bold, often balanced with sweetened condensed milk. But Hanoi Drip takes it to a whole other level. They offer an amazing array of cold foams using unique, Asian-inspired ingredients like ube, black sesame, pandan, and hojicha. It’s such a creative and delicious twist!

This spot did not disappoint. In fact, it was so good that I came back multiple times during our short trip because I just had to try more of the menu. I managed to try the Egg Coffee, Ube Coconut Coffee, Salted Cream Coffee, Black Sesame Coffee, and the classic Coconut Coffee.

Honestly, it was so hard to choose a favorite because every single one was fantastic. But if I had to pick, I think the Egg Coffee, Black Sesame, and Salted Cream Coffee were my top three. The Egg Coffee was velvety and decadent, the Black Sesame had a wonderful nutty depth, and the Salted Cream had that perfect sweet and savory balance. Every drink was just so well-crafted — perfectly creamy and rich, while still letting that bold coffee flavor shine through.

We also grabbed lunch there one day and ordered their Banh Mi. Just like their coffee, it was so flavorful and fresh! It was the perfect pairing with our drinks.

If you’re in Vancouver and you’re a coffee fan, you absolutely cannot miss Hanoi Drip. It’s a must-visit.
