If you’re looking for a super cute, vibrant, and modern cafe to add to your Vancouver list, you absolutely have to check out Jack’s Spot.

Let’s get the one tricky thing out of the way first: parking is a bit hard around this area. But trust me when I say it is worth circling the block a few times to find a spot. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a bright, welcoming atmosphere that just makes you want to hang out.

Jack’s Spot is known for two things: their incredible pastries and their fun, creative matcha drinks! I was definitely there for the matcha. I ordered the iced strawberry matcha, and my husband went for a simple, classic cappuccino.

It’s really worth noting that the matcha here is the real deal—it’s earthy and authentic. So, if you’re someone who is looking for that super sweet, not-really-matcha kind of matcha, this is probably not the place for you. But if you appreciate the true flavor of high-quality matcha, you will love it. The strawberry added a nice, subtle sweetness that balanced the earthiness perfectly. Even if you aren’t a matcha lover, grab a latte and pastry!

My only regret from our visit is that we didn’t indulge in some of their pastries. They looked and smelled so, so good. It just gives me a perfect excuse to go back! If you’re looking for a great coffee, a fantastic matcha, and a beautiful spot to relax, don’t skip Jack’s Spot.
