If you’re a pizza lover like me, you’ll adore Pizzium, a modern and charming spot with not one, not two, but three locations across Turin, Italy. I stumbled upon this gem during a solo lunch adventure, and I was blown away by the friendly staff and incredible food. As I settled in, I started my meal with the Bruschetta with Stracciatella and Zucchini, and oh, it was love at first bite! The combination was rich and flavorful, with the creamy stracciatella and sweet zucchini perfectly balanced on toasted bread.
But the real star of the show was the pizza menu, boasting an impressive selection of regional classics and classic Neapolitan-style pies. I opted for the Lazio Pizza, which was essentially a carbonara in pizza form – genius! The light, fluffy dough had a lovely char, topped with melty cheese, tender pork cheek, egg yolk, and a sprinkle of pecorino for a salty kick. Each bite was a masterclass in flavor and texture, with the creamy egg and cheese mingling with the savory pork and tangy pecorino.
What truly sets Pizzium apart is the quality of its pizza dough. Soft, fluffy, and with just the right amount of chew, it’s clear that the dough is made with love and care. Whether you’re a pizza aficionado or just looking for a delicious meal, Pizzium is a must-visit destination in Turin.
The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who were happy to guide me through the menu. The atmosphere was modern and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a solo lunch or a night out with friends.
If you’re in Turin, do yourself a favor and head to Pizzium for a wonderful lunch or dinner!
