Da Zero

When it comes to exceptional pizza, Da Zero is a name that stands out. With two locations in Turin and additional spots in Milan, Bologna, and Florence, this pizzeria has made a name for itself in Italy and beyond. Their commitment to using the highest quality ingredients has earned them a spot in the top 50 best pizza places in the world – a truly remarkable achievement.

We were thrilled to try Da Zero during our visit to Turin, and it did not disappoint. We began our meal with a unique appetizer – fried pizza dough topped with hummus and thick slices of Parma. While it was an unexpected combination, it surprisingly worked beautifully. The crispy fried dough provided a satisfying crunch, while the creamy hummus and salty Parma added depth to the dish. For our main course, we opted for two different pizzas. I went with the classic Margherita, a timeless combination of fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil that never goes out of style. The simplicity of the ingredients allowed each component to shine, and the flavors melded together perfectly. My husband, on the other hand, chose the Diavolo, a slightly spicy take on the classic pizza. The combination of fresh tomatoes, cheese, and spicy elements complemented each other beautifully, making for a delicious and satisfying slice.

The true star of the show, however, was the pizza crust. Light, fluffy, and crispy on the bottom, it was clear that Da Zero’s commitment to quality ingredients and expert technique paid off. The crust was perfectly cooked, with a delicate crunch that gave way to a soft, airy interior.

If you’re a pizza lover, Da Zero is an absolute must-visit. With its award-winning pizzas and dedication to using only the best ingredients, you can be sure that every bite will be a delight. Whether you’re in Turin or visiting one of their other locations, Da Zero is sure to impress even the most discerning palates.
