La Rollerie

If you’re looking for a spot to fuel up for a day of exploring Madrid, look no further than La Rollerie. With multiple locations scattered across the city, this charming spot is perfect for brunch, lunch, or a quick coffee fix. As we settled in for a leisurely breakfast, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere of La Rollerie. The rustic-chic interior, with its exposed brick and wooden accents, felt cozy and intimate, yet the open and bright layout made it feel spacious and airy.

We started off with a pair of expertly crafted Cappuccinos, which were smooth and bold with just the right amount of crema. The dusting of cocoa powder on top added a delightful textural element to the drink. For breakfast, I opted for the Iberian Breakfast plate, which was a veritable feast. The dish arrived laden with Jamon Iberico, perfectly fried eggs over crispy potatoes, a side of tasty tomato sauce for dipping, and a generous portion of soft, fluffy French toast. While it was certainly a lot to take in, every bite was a delight. The French toast, in particular, was a standout – it was so buttery and light, it literally melted in my mouth. My husband, on the other hand, opted for the Istanbul Breakfast plate, which was a lighter and fresher take on the morning meal. The brioche was perfectly toasted, and the grilled Halloumi added a lovely salty kick. The mixed green salad with maple mustard vinaigrette was a delightful surprise, and the avocado added a creamy richness to the dish.

Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a light snack, La Rollerie has something for everyone. With its multiple locations and extensive menu, it’s the perfect spot to fuel up for a day of exploring this beautiful city. We left feeling full and content, ready to take on whatever Madrid had in store for us. Highly recommended!
