Caracola

Tucked away in the bustling Anton Martin Market, Caracola is a tiny gem that’s a must-visit for cheesecake lovers. This small spot may be compact, with limited seating and a take-away focused vibe, but don’t let its size fool you – the cheesecakes are a game-changer.

But what’s even better is that Caracola has a slightly larger spot just outside the market, offering more than just their famous cheesecakes. So, if you’re looking for a bigger menu or a more substantial meal, be sure to check out their other location.

The real star of the show, however, is the cheesecake. Caracola’s creamy, luscious creations literally melt in your mouth, with a texture that’s more like ice cream than traditional cheesecake. I was hooked from the first bite!

I stopped by the market location and picked up a few slices to try, opting for the Lotus Cheesecake and Pistachio Cheesecake. Both were incredible delicious, with rich, velvety textures and bold flavors that were perfectly balanced. I couldn’t pick a favorite – both were must-haves!

If you’re a cheesecake fan like me, Caracola is an absolute must-try. Even with limited seating, the take-away option makes it easy to grab a slice (or two, or three…) and enjoy on the go. But be warned: these cheesecakes are so good, you’ll want to come back for more.
