If you’re looking for a delicious and healthy brunch spot in Madrid, look no further than Nomade. This charming cafe is a hidden gem that we stumbled upon during our second visit to the city, and we fell in love with its delightful menu and cozy atmosphere. One thing to note is that Nomade is a small cafe and doesn’t take reservations, so be prepared for a potential wait on the weekends. But trust us, it’s worth it. The space itself is super cute, with a warm and welcoming vibe that’s perfect for a relaxing brunch.
The menu at Nomade is a delight, with plenty of healthy options to fuel your day. We tried the Pink Avocado, which was a game-changer. Toasted sourdough piled high with beetroot hummus, beautifully spiraled avocado, feta, pumpkin seeds, and homemade dukkah – it sounds like a lot, but trust us, it all works together perfectly. The flavors were bright and fresh, and the portion was light but filling. We also fell in love with the Chipotle Sandwich. This warm, grilled sandwich is filled with chipotle sauce, pulled pork, and coleslaw, and served with a small salad on the side. It’s the perfect comfort food to warm up on a chilly day. And of course, no visit to Nomade would be complete without a cup of their expertly crafted coffee. We opted for Flat Whites, which were smooth and rich.
Nomade is a great addition to Madrid’s brunch scene, and we can’t wait to go back and try more of their delicious menu options.
