Zenith

When it comes to brunch, Madrid is not messing around. The city takes its weekend meals seriously, and Zenith is no exception. This fantastic spot offers brunch all day, every day, but if you’re visiting on a weekend, be sure to make a reservation – it’s that popular.

We started our day with a round of mimosas, because, well, it’s vacation, and why not?! The drinks were perfectly crafted, and we were ready to take on the menu. Our first dish was the Dulce de Leche Pancakes, smothered in a creamy, tangy dulce de leche, sliced almonds, and ice cream. While the flavor was incredible, I have to admit that the pancakes were a bit denser than what I’m used to in the States. The texture wasn’t quite my favorite, but the flavors were so good that it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Next up was the Eggs Zenith, a dish that exceeded my expectations in every way. The toasted English muffin was topped with smashed avocado, jammy eggs, tomatoes, hollandaise sauce, and crispy bacon. It was a flavor bomb that had me scraping the plate clean.

Overall, Zenith is a wonderful brunch spot in the heart of Madrid. The atmosphere is lively and chic, and the service is top-notch. If you’re looking for a delicious meal to start your day, look no further.
