Tapa Tapa

If you’re looking for a tapas spot in Madrid that’s easy to find and convenient, Tapa Tapa might be the place for you. With multiple locations around the city, this chain spot is a familiar sight for tourists and locals alike. However, it’s worth noting that Tapa Tapa is not necessarily the most authentic tapas experience in Madrid.

The prices at Tapa Tapa are a bit on the high side, and the atmosphere feels somewhat touristy. That being said, the food is still good, and you’ll likely have an enjoyable meal. We stopped by Tapa Tapa and tried a few of their tapas dishes, including the Jamon Iberico (a must-try in Spain), Bread with Tomato, Jamon and Cheese Croquettes, and Grilled Beef with Peppers and Fries. Jamon Iberico was, of course, delicious, and the Bread with Tomato was a nice simple snack. The Croquettes were crispy and flavorful, and the Grilled Beef with Peppers and Fries was a hearty dish that hit the spot. We also enjoyed a pitcher of Sangria, which was a refreshing accompaniment to our meal.

If you’re short on time or just not sure where to go, Tapa Tapa is a decent option. However, if you’re looking for a more authentic tapas experience, there are better spots around the city. Madrid is known for its vibrant tapas scene, and you can find some amazing small plates and local specialties at bars and restaurants that are off the beaten path.
