If you’re looking for a unique and delicious food experience in Paris, look no further than Le Bab. Short for Bar A Brioches, Le Bab is one of the first brioche bun spots in Paris, and it’s a must-visit for anyone who loves good food and great ingredients. The highlights of Le Bab are undoubtedly the brioche sandwiches and the Babka, all made fresh in-house by hand. The brioche buns are soft, buttery, and utterly divine, and the fillings are creative and delicious.
I visited the 8th district location, but Le Bab also has another location in the 29th district. The shop is small, but it’s perfect for takeaway or a quick lunch or snack. Unfortunately, no reservations are taken, so be prepared to wait in line if you’re visiting during peak hours.
I tried a few of Le Bab’s delicious offerings, including the Brioche Burrata Sandwich, Hazelnut Babka, and Cured Meat Brioche Sandwich. The brioche bun was everything I hoped it would be – soft, buttery, and utterly delicious. The creamy, cold Burrata inside the brioche sandwich was the perfect complement to the rich, buttery bun. The Hazelnut Babka was also super tasty, although I think it would have been even better warmed up. The Cured Meat Brioche Sandwich was another highlight, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
Overall, Le Bab is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves brioche and good food. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is exceptional. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or meeting a friend for lunch, Le Bab is a great choice.
