If you’re looking for a unique dining experience that goes beyond just a meal, look no further than Opium in Dublin. This restaurant turned club is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the best of Asian-inspired cuisine and nightlife. Spread across three distinct floors, Opium offers a different vibe on each level. From elegant cocktails to an Asian-inspired dinner and a vibrant club setting, you’ll find everything you need in one spot. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends, Opium has got you covered.
One of the best things about Opium is its ability to accommodate large parties. With plenty of space and a team that’s happy to cater to your needs, this is a great spot to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoy a night out with friends. Just be sure to plan ahead and make a reservation, especially if you’re planning to bring a large group. Keep in mind that for larger parties, you’ll be required to order off a set menu, which while limiting in variety, still offers stunning dishes.
To start the evening, be sure to try one of Opium’s unique and interactive cocktails. The Open Sesame and Risen From The Ashes were my favorites, with flavors that were both bold and refreshing. For appetizers, we ordered an assortment that included spring rolls, summer rolls, crispy prawns, Vietnamese beef, and crispy wontons with an assortment of sauces. Each dish was delicious and expertly prepared. For my main course, I ordered the Pad Thai, which was incredible. The noodles were thick and chewy, and the sauce was tangy with a hint of sweetness and spice. It was a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
Overall, Opium is a must-visit destination in Dublin. With its unique atmosphere, delicious food, and vibrant nightlife, it’s a great spot for anyone looking to experience the best of the city. Whether you’re a foodie, a cocktail enthusiast, or just looking for a fun night out, Opium has something for everyone.
