If you’re a fan of ramen, you’ll love Nomo Ramen in Dublin. This modern and bright ramen spot is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The owner and head chef has even traveled the world to taste and learn all things ramen, and it shows in the quality of the food. Nomo Ramen primarily focuses on chicken-based ramen broth, known as Tori Paitan, which is rich and flavorful without being too heavy. The menu is designed to be enjoyed in a casual setting, making it the perfect spot for a quick lunch or dinner. And the best part? No reservations are required, although it’s recommended to contact them if you’re planning to bring a party of 6 or more, as seating is limited.
The menu at Nomo Ramen offers a variety of options to start, including bao, gyoza, and karaage. They also have plenty of vegan and vegetarian dishes, making it a great spot for everyone. We tried the OG Nomo Ramen, which comes with a delicious chicken broth, chashu pork, scallions, marinated egg, spinach, and sliced leeks. We ordered one bowl spicy and one without spice, and both were delicious. The 10-hour chicken broth was silky and smooth, with so much flavor. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, and the eggs were perfectly jammy. It was a truly delicious bowl of ramen. We also tried the Hirata Bun, which comes with 12-hour marinated pork, homemade pickles, and hoisin. While the flavors were delicious and the bun was soft and fluffy, I found the pork to be a bit too fatty for my taste. However, I know that many people love rich and fatty pork, so it’s definitely worth trying if you’re a fan.
Overall, Nomo Ramen is a great spot for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic ramen experience in Dublin. The modern and bright atmosphere makes it a great spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner, and the friendly staff are always happy to help.
