If you go to California it is a rule that you have to get tacos at least once. There are so many unbelievable taco stands and shops all across the state and especially in the southern part of the state. There are also a lot of fish taco options since seafood is readily available and so fresh there. But anyways, tacos…you must get delicious tacos while in California! Tacos La Calle is an amazing place for a casual taco if you need a quick lunch or dinner and just want some easy, no fuss, simple tacos. Here you can grab tacos for under $3-$4, depending on the meat you get and I promise you, they are FILLED with meat. They even have a salsa bar with so many salsas for you to grab!
Tacos La Calle is the first stop I make anytime I am in the LA area – the tacos are so good and consistent and never let me down. The meat is always tender and juicy with so much flavor and the tortillas are light and warm. Plus I love their salsa bar, especially the creamy chipotle one – it has such a rich, smokey flavor! I also love how simple they keep their tacos with minimal toppings, like it should be. And don’t forget to grab a Mexican coke to chase down your tacos!
