Lambo’s Deli in Toronto has some of the biggest, tastiest, thick sandwiches I have ever had! I found them randomly when I was looking for a quick lunch spot near the office while I was working in Toronto and this spot popped up and I am SO glad it did. Their menu is simple, but perfectly created. You’ll find a number of delicious sandwich combinations for you to choose from and even though the menu is small, you might still have a hard time deciding. My husband and I each grabbed a different sandwich so we could try each others. I went for a classic Turkey Swiss that was loaded with freshly sliced smoked turkey breast, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onions, mayo and honey dijon. It was so simple but so incredibly tasty. The bread was so soft on the inside with a wonderful crusty exterior! While this sandwich did cost $15 it was absolutely massive – we could have split one sandwich and still have leftovers lol. My husband grabbed the Classic Combo which is loaded with salami, smoked ham, coppa, sharp provolone, tomato, red onions, lettuce, garlic aioli, giardiniera, olive oil and vinegar, and oregano. Each bite had so much flavor! You also get so many textures with each bite and that giardiniera added some heat to it! This sandwich spot is not one to miss if you are in Toronto because you will fall in love first bite and not be disappointed. Make sure to add this one to your list and you can browse their full menu here.
