Looking for a piece of Italy in Luxembourg? Partigiano is THE spot for all of your Italian cravings. They opened in 2019 and serve up incredibly delicious and authentic Italian dishes. From pizza to pasta to everything in between. The restaurant is also super cute and a space I would keep going back to. I would recommend snagging a reservation, especially on the weekends because this spot was definitely crowded and there were no empty tables! You’ll understand why too when you take that first bite. The menu is ridiculously good with so many options, it may take you a bit to decide.
The husband and I managed to snag a Saturday night reservation here and had one of my favorite dinners ever. By the time we traveled to Luxembourg, we had also been to Italy, so our expectations were high. Partigiano absolutely nailed it – the flavors, the textures, the presentation – literally everything was perfection. We skipped appetizers, not for lack of options or things we wanted, but more so due to the limited space in our stomachs at this point in the day lol. We did however both grab our own pizzas, which is pretty customary in Europe – no individual sizes or much sharing going on. There were so many pizzas calling my name and it was so tough to choose, but I ended up grabbing the Mortadella and added Burrata on top. My husband grabbed the Calzone. The Mortadella came with fresh mozzarella, Mortadella, pistachios and basil on a perfectly crispy, chewy crust. I can never get enough cheese so of course I added Burrata for an extra creamy bite. The Calzone came with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms and basil all folded up in a soft, chewy pocket. This hands down is some of the best pizza we have eaten outside of Italy and my only wish is that I had tried more dishes from the menu; but if I am ever back in Luxembourg this will be my first stop!
