Bloom

Coffee + Cake is the most irresistible combination and I think everyone should make time in their day to sit down for this. The Germans really do this right! I mean who doesn’t love a sweet treat with a hot coffee of choice? Sign me up! Now Luxembourg isn’t necessarily known for coffee + cake hour like Germany is, but that doesn’t stop me from doing this daily. When we arrived in Luxembourg it was mid afternoon and by this point we were exhausted, running on empty, and in need of a pick me up. We happened to find Bloom, located just near our hotel, and upon walking in you are hit with a strong smell of coffee and butter. Everything in their pastry case will make your mouth water and have you debating how many sweet treats you should really get. This cafe also has wonderful natural lighting that shines through and comfy seating for you to relax and enjoy. Hubby and I each ordered a cappuccino and shared a slice of cheesecake. First, the cappuccino was perfect. The espresso was strong and bold but had no bitterness to it – it was so creamy and luscious. Second, that cheesecake is what dreams are made of. I am not necessarily a huge cheesecake fan, but I do love a creamy cheesecake. Bloom’s was light and airy but still so creamy and had that slight tangy without being overly sweet. Definitely pop in for a coffee or a lil treat because you deserve it!
