The Daily

The Daily is the cutest lil breakfast nook with some of the most delicious food I think I have ever had. On my super short 3 day trip to Atlanta, I ate here for 2 of my breakfasts because I could not get enough! If there is one spot you don’t want to miss, it is this one. They actually have 3 locations in Atlanta, but I popped in the Inman Park one since it was close to where I was staying. I loved the bright space with plenty of seating. I also loved how you order at the counter and can grab any table you want. Even though you order at a counter, it still felt like a slow morning breakfast spot – no one was rushing around frantically; everyone was calm and just enjoying their mornings.

So let’s get into the food. Here is everything we tried (and then I will break it down): Breakfast Pita, Breakfast Sandwich, Whipped Feta Toast, Matcha Bread, and for caffeine we tried a classic cappuccino and the Upside Down Latte. Everything was absolutely delightful and full of flavor, but the one item that I can’t stop thinking about is the Breakfast Pita. The pita was so warm and fluffy and filled to the brim with scrambled eggs, hummus, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, green shug, pickled onions, and a lemon vinaigrette. The flavor combination with the tangy lemon and the creamy hummus was unbelievable. I also loved the contrast of the warm eggs and the cold crunchy vegetables. If there is only one thing you order here, get the Breakfast Pita! The Breakfast Sandwich was a close second with a smokey onion jam, crispy bacon, pimento cheese, and a runny egg on a toasty sesame bun. It is super messy to eat, but that just means it is extra tasty. Make sure to check out their pastry case for some uniquely flavored items that you are sure to love.

Don’t sleep on this spot if you’re in Atlanta, it might be your new favorite breakfast that you’ll dream of for years to come! If I could eat one breakfast dish for the rest of my life, it seriously would be the Breakfast Pita from The Daily…it was just so perfect I can’t even believe it. Don’t believe me? Check them out yourself and see! Check out their locations and menu here.
