So unfortunately at the time of writing this, El Pollo Burro is temporarily closed and it looks like they are focusing on their other restaurants. While I didn’t try their other concepts, I will still tell ya that El Pollo Burro was absolutely fantastic! The goal of this shop is to bring delicious, accessible food to everyone and they definitely do just that. After a long day at work, my husband and I popped in to this collective and grabbed burritos for a perfect, late-night dinner. All of their burritos are Juarez style that starts with a 12 inch fire grilled tortilla for a wonderful charred flavor. I grabbed the Pollo because well it is in their name and my husband grabbed the barbacoa burrito! Both burritos came with slaw and a combination of sauces that will knock your taste buds out of the park. Both the chicken and barbacoa were incredibly tender and juicy with so much flavor.
While this spot is closed, if the burritos were this delicious, I would highly recommend checking out this chef’s other concepts!
