Bentonville, Arkansas doesn’t scream good food and coffee, right? I mean it isn’t a big city and is not super well known. But that didn’t stop Bentonville from working to be a little foodie town in the middle of the country in the most unsuspecting spot. I was pleasantly surprised when my husband and I took a weekend trip and discovered incredible food and coffee in this small town. This is such a fun spot for a quick getaway – great food, incredible coffee, and so many things to do outdoors. It is like an oasis.

Onyx Coffee is located in the center of town in their cute downtown area that has so many local shops you should absolutely explore. Onyx has actually become a super popular coffee roaster around the world and you can find their coffee beans in so many shops around the country. Their shop in Bentonville is so artfully and beautifully designed. In the middle of the shop you’ll find their counter that you can walk all the way around and watch the baristas pulling espresso shots and crafting delicious lattes. The space is open and bright and has plenty of seating for you to sit and enjoy your drink. Their coffee is so smooth and delicious with subtle flavor notes throughout. It is one of my all time favorite coffee shops around the world. Give them a try and don’t write off Bentonville for a weekend getaway, just make sure you go when the weather is nice!
