Another day, another perfect cup of coffee. White Noise is a small roastery and coffee shop in Brooklyn, NY with a carefully crafted coffee menu, breakfast, and plenty of space to hang out or get some work done. I stopped in to grab a morning cup of coffee before work and loved the simplicity of this shop. Their menu was all the classics so you know they mean business with their coffee and beans. I find that shops that have a crazy menu (although I love me some good drink combos and fun flavors) can sometimes have lackluster coffee because the flavors hide or mask the espresso. For White Noise that is not the case – they want their beans and espresso to be the star of the drink, which I greatly appreciate. I grabbed a cappuccino and they nailed it! A lot of shops make a latte, but a true cappuccino should have a higher milk foam ratio and a lower amount of milk (unlike a latte that has all milk and no foam). The espresso was so smooth and rich and zero bitterness. It had a wonderful profile and stood on its own.
If you are a coffee lover and want to find some great beans and espresso, check out White Noise here.
