Panineria

Sometimes ya just need a big ass sandwich and Panineria has ya covered. They specialize in Italian sandwiches made with the freshest, highest quality ingredients and everything artfully prepared. They offer several sandwiches from hot to cold to meat to vegetarian OR you can build your own masterpiece. Their food is simple, yet elevated for flavors that will make your mouth water and hook you upon first bite. In addition to sandwiches, they also have pasta, salads, bread, soup and more. But in my opinion, the sandwiches are the real star of the show.

I grabbed two sandwiches for my husband and I to share for a late night dinner and this was perfect. The sandwiches were filling but still light and fresh. I ordered the Burrata Sandwich which comes with burrata, prosciutto, arugula, tomatoes and olive oil. I opted for it cold on the ciabatta but you can get it hot and on a baguette or focaccia. For my husband, I ordered the Super Mario Sandwich which is a meat lovers dream. It comes with prosciutto, salami, mortadella, fresh mozzarella and olive oil. We also got this one cold on ciabatta! Both were so delicious – the bread had a lovely crumb with a soft interior and a crusty outside for a wonderful bite with texture. The meats and cheeses were so fresh and perfect. I loved the burrata sandwich with the tomatoes and arugula that really helped lighten it up. the Super Mario was great with the 3 meats, but it is heavier and could use something fresh to lighten it.
