Blank Street Coffee

A cute coffee shop when you are in need of a caffeine kick. Blank Street actually started in Brooklyn, NY and has become a brand recognized around the world with locations all over NY, London, Boston, and DC. How cool! Their focus is on creating a ritual of daily coffee and their model has allowed them to remove costs so they can take that and invest in finding the best coffee around the world and bringing it to us! To keep overhead costs low, their shops are fairly small which means this is not the coffee shop to go to if you want to work or hang out. Don’t let that stop you from popping in for a cup though – you can always stand at the bar or chill in their outdoor seating (they typically have a table and a few chairs right outside). You’ll find classic coffees like cappuccinos, cortados, flat whites, etc and they also have some creative drinks like pistachio lattes, strawberries and cream lattes, and non caffeinated beverages (for all my matcha lovers!).

I grabbed an iced pistachio latte – because no matter what the temperature is, I am getting it iced (unless I am in Europe in which case they don’t really have iced drinks). The coffee is smooth and luxurious. It is strong and stands on its own, but is not bitter – so very thankful for that! Give them a try if you find yourself nearby.
