Probably the smallest country in Europe, but one of the most beautiful! Now this list is super small since I had about 18 hours in the city, so there wasn’t a lot of time to try a lot of places. But I would definitely go back for a weekend trip. I didn’t plan anything beforehand when travelling here since I had such limited time; but I am going to share a few things I learned and saw and would do differently next time. First off, Luxembourg City has an astonishing number of Michelin Restaurants. There is a beautiful area that is located on the bottom of the hill by the river and almost every restaurant we passed had a Michelin Plaque outside. The country as a whole has 76 Michelin Restaurants, which considering the size of the country is absolutely wild! If Michelin is your vibe, take a look at the guide and definitely make reservations ahead of time. Secondly, the city itself is fairly walkable, but there are some serious hills that we were not prepared for. Grab your walking shoes if you are planning to tour the city by foot. There is also so much to see in Luxembourg City like: Rham Plateau, Citadelle du Saint-Esprit, La Passerelle Bridge, Palais Grand-Ducal, Place Guillaume II, Ville-Haute area, and Pont Adolphe! So much history packed into this tiny city.
