Dublin might be one of the most surprising cities for me when it comes to the food scene. When you think Dublin/Ireland, in my head I think of Guinness, Fish n Chips, and heavier dishes. What I found instead was a stunning, vibrant, diverse food scene. From the brunch options to the light Mediterranean fare I enjoyed some seriously tasty dishes. You’ll still definitely want to grab some Guinness, Fish n Chips, and all the traditional Irish dishes, but if you’re looking for some more diverse options, check out the list below. If you have a limited time, my favorites were: Mister S, Shouk, Camden Kitchen, Doolally, and Ebb & Flow. For site seeing, here are my top recommendations: go on a tour of the Guinness factory and enjoy some Guinness, tour the Kilmainham Gael, go see the Jameson Distillery (if whiskey is your vibe), grab a Guinness at Temple Bar and listen to live music, walk across the Ha’penny Bridge, see the Dublin Castle and Trinity College, walk through St. Stephen’s Green, go see the National Gallery of Ireland, and grab a drink at The Brazen Head which is one of the oldest pubs in Dublin!
