I have always loved Barcelona – the beauty, the food, and the party scene – what isn’t to love? But as I have matured and grown up, I am less drawn to the party scene and more drawn to the art and culture this city has to offer. Barcelona is definitely a large city with so much to see and it can be overwhelming. The art scene is so incredible though and seeing the works of Gaudi is a highlight – Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and Passeig de Gracia are must-sees! Some other great areas to explore are the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, and La Boqueria Market. It is also worth taking a trip up to Montjuic Hill to see the Olympic Village and the Magic Fountain and if you can, catch a soccer game if FC Barcelona is playing! While there are so many incredible restaurants in Barcelona, below are the few spots we ate and enjoyed during our quick 72 hour trip!
