Cajun Salmon Bites with Creamy Cajun Sauce

If you love cajun seasoning – that smokey, tangy, goodness – then this is a dish you don’t want to miss! The salmon gets crispy and flakey and packs so much flavor in each bite. Then you get to drizzle on even more cajun dressing to finish off the dish! The lemon juice adds a vibrant, tang to cut a bit of the richness from the cajun seasoning but you will still get all the bold, smokey flavor. For this dish, I use my AirFryer but you can just as easily use the oven instead!

For the Salmon:

  • 1.5 Lbs Salmon, Skin Removed and Cubed
  • 1 Lemon, Juiced
  • 1/4 Cup Cajun Seasoning

Cajun Sauce:

  • 1/2 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 Lemon, Juiced

Optional for Serving:

  • Sliced Avocado
  • Sliced Cucumber
  • Cooked Jasmin Rice
  • Diced Green Onions

To Make:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the cubed salmon, lemon juice, and cajun seasoning. Gently stir to combine to ensure the salmon is evenly coated. Set aside and allow to marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. While the salmon is marinating, combine the greek yogurt, 1 tbsp cajun seasoning, and the juice of 1 lemon in a bowl and whisk together to combine well. Taste and adjust the seasonings if desired.
  3. For this recipe I used my AirFryer, but you could also bake these on a sheet pan at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes. For the AirFryer, line the basket with foil and place a single layer of salmon chunks in the basket. Place in the AirFryer on 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes.
  4. Remove the salmon from the AirFryer and place in a bowl and cover.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all the salmon is cooked.
  6. When all the salmon has been cooked, divide between 4 bowls and top with a generous helping of the cajun greek yogurt. Serve with rice, avocado and cucumber!
